You Can't Hug A Memory

Regular price $29.00
My parents divorced when I was super young and my mom raised me alone. She's from germany but we were living in the midwest so we would save up money every year to fly back and visit family. My grandpa became like a father to me, but one that i'd only see for 3 months of the year. And when he died a few years back, it was like my father had died. I was an absolute wreck and seriously couldn't cope or recover for years. i'm better now. I still have his old shirts – they're massive on me and i love that. some are getting holes and the colors are fading, but i can't bring myself to toss or donate them. i know this is so fucking cliche but i would give literally anything to see him again and hold him and hug him forever. i'm thankful that i have so many postcards, pictures, and memories. But you know what, You Can't Hug A Memory.
